Last week I had a meeting in downtown Calgary. Originally when I looked at Google maps for the location, it suggested it was in a side street close to the Core shopping centre, but it actually turned out to be in an office on the 42nd floor of a building.

When I walked into the reception area, the views from the picture window behind the reception desk were stunning, to say the least. So much so, I asked if I could take some photos before my meeting. They said it was fine, so I took some, only with my phone and of course the interior lighting got in the way, but it was still pretty amazing.

Then I was taken to a meeting room, which had even better views. Unfortunately, it was quite cloudy and so I couldn’t see the mountains. I would love to be able to return when the skies are clear and the mountains are in full view.

I apologize for the poor quality of the photos, but you get the idea. ¬†Just couldn’t resist.
